Telegrafenkabel / Telegraphy Cable

On a wall beside the museum hangs a part of the original telegraphy cable. In the west of the bay, but still visible from the light house, there is the Telegraphy Cable Hut where there was the landing point of the cable since the 1930ies. The cable was moved from Foilhommerum Bay to this spot as it was problematic with the local fishermen. (The path to the hut seems to be not open to the public.)
