Glockenturm / Bell Tower

Der abgesetzte Glockenturm ist das einzige, was von der mittelalterlichen Kirche noch erhalten ist. Seine Spitze wurde erst im 18. Jahrhundert aufgesetzt, wie uns eine auf ihm angebrachte Steintafel mitteilt:
Diese Turmspitze wurde Anno 1783 auf alleinigen Kosten von Thomas Erster Graf von Bective errichtet. Sie wurde von Tho(mas) Cooley Esc entworfen und von M. John Wash Steinmetz ausgeführt.
The stand-alone bell tower is the only part left of the medieval church. The spire on it was added in the 18th century, as stone plate attached to it tells us:
This Spire was Erected Anno 1783 at the Entire Expence of Thomas First Earl of Bective. It was designed by Tho(mas) Cooley Esc and was Executed by M. John Walsh Stone Cutter.
