Malin Head

Malin Head (Cionn Mhálanna) am Ende der Halbinsel Inishowen ist der nördlichste Punkt der Hauptinsel Irlands. Die Brandung, die gegen die steilen Klippen schäumt und das Gekreische der Seemöwen sind weit und breit die einzigen Geräusche, die wir hören. Einen kleinen weißen Punkt am Meer können wir gerade noch als Segelboot ausmachen.

Malin Head (Cionn Mhálanna) at the end of the peninsula Inishowen is the most northern point of the main isle of Ireland. The surf boiling against the steep cliffs and the shrieks of the seagulls are the only sounds we hear. A small white spot in the sea we can barely recognise as a sailing boat.
