Kinny Lough

Im Nordteil der Fanad Halbinsel gibt es ein paar große und viele kleine Seen. Wir halten am Kinny Lough (Loch Chionn), wo wir eine typisch irische Landschaft vorfinden. Die drei auffälligen Bergspitzen am linken Rand des Bildes sind der Murren Hill (227 m), der Dun More (213 m) und der Dun Beg (162 m). Am rechten Rand des Bildes ist die Meeresbucht von Ballyhiernan (Baile Thiarnain) zu sehen.

In the northern part of the Fanad peninsula there are several large and many small lakes. We stop at Kinny Lough (Loch Chionn), where we find a typical Irish landscape. The three noticeable mountain peaks on the left side of the picture belong to Murren Hill (227 m), Dun More (213 m) and Dun Beg (162 m). On the right side of the picture the sea bay of Ballyhiernan (Baile Thiarnain) can be seen.
