Nationales Denkmal fuer die Streitkraefte / National Memorial for the Armed Forces

Als wir den Park vom Leinster House aus betreten, fällt uns dieses dreieckige Gebilde auf. Es ist ein Denkmal das 2008 für die Mitglieder der Irischen Streitkräfte enthüllt wurde, die ihr Leben im Kampf verloren haben. Es stellt ein Militärzelt dar, in seinem Inneren stehen vier Statuen von Soldaten um eine ewige Flamme.
As we enter the park coming from Leinster House, we notice a triangle-shaped structure. It is a memorial - unveiled in 2008 - for the members of the armed forces who left their lives in battle. It depicts a military tent, inside four statues of soldiers stand around an eternal flame.
