Der Eibengang / The Yew Walk
The Yew Walk was planted in the 18th century and runs along a former pilgrim's path from the old abbey to Glendalough. Therefore it is also called Monk's Walk. Nowadays the branches of the large, old trees form a green tunnel that would have sheltered the pilgrims from sun and rain.
