Nur wenige Minuten von Titanic Belfast entfernt stehen zwei andere und durchaus auch ungewöhnliche Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt: Die Kräne Samson und Goliath. Sie wurden um 1970 für die Werft Harland and Wolff von der Firma Krupp gebaut und prägen mit 106 Metern (Samson) bzw. 96 Metern (Goliath) Höhe das Bild des Hafens. Die Kräne haben eine Spannweite von 140 Metern, jeder kann bis zu 840 Tonnen heben. Als die Zeit der großen Schiffsbauten in Belfast zu Ende ging und die Werft ihre Tore schloss, wurden die Kräne als "Gebäude von architektonischem oder historischem Interesse" unter Schutz gestellt.
Only a few minutes away from Titanic Belfast there are two other and entirely unusual sights of the town: The cranes Samson and Goliath. They were built around 1970 for the docks of Harland and Wolff by the company Krupp and shape the view of the harbour with their 106 metres (Samson) resp. 96 metres (Goliath) in height. The cranes have a span of 140 metres, each can lift up to 840 tons. When the time of building large ships in Belfast had come to an end and the docks closed their gates, the cranes were listed as "buildings of architectural or historic interest" and put under protection.
