Koenigliches Victoria Augen und Ohren Hospital / Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital

Ende des 19. Jahrhundert wurde das National Eye Hospital und das St. Mark's Ophthalmic Hospital zusammengelegt. Auf einem Grundstück in der Adelaide Road wurde das Königliche Victoria Augen und Ohren Hospital erbaut und 1904 eröffnet. Mehr als hundert Jahre später, werden hier nicht nur tausende Patienten pro Jahr behandelt, sondern auch die nächste Generation an Spezialisten ausgebildet.
At the end of the 19th century the National Eye Hospital und das St. Mark's Ophthalmic Hospital were merged. On a plot in Adelaide Road the Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital was built and opened in 1904. More than 100 years later, not only thousands of patients are treated each year, but also the next generation of specialists is educated.
