Der Weg hinunter vom Großen Pfaff wird für mich zum Albtraum, denn ich bin nicht schwindelfrei. Zuerst müssen wir einen Hang hinunter, der wie abgerutscht aussieht und sich auch so anfühlt.
The descent from the Big Pfaff is a nightmare for me, because I am highshy. First we have to climb down a slope which not only looks like a landslide, but also feels like one.
Dann wird der Weg wieder ein bisschen harmloser, und wir gehen vorsichtig, aber zweibeinig weiter. Aber der Felsen vor uns verheißt nichts Gutes.
Then it's getting easier, we can again walk on upright (though very carefully). But look at the rock in front of us: we have to move down from there.
Dieser Weg war das schlimmste Stück: seitlich ging es ziemlich steil ziemlich tief hinunter, und auf dem schottrigen Weg war kein fester Halt zu finden. Ich klammerte mich an alle Büsche und Sträucher, die ich finden konnte, aber ohne die hilfreiche Hand meines Schwagers hätte ich es nie geschafft.
This was the worst part: on one side it was steep and deep down, and the path was full of loose rocks on which it was difficult to find any good stable foothold. I grabbed all bushes and shrubs I could find, but without the helping hand of my brother-in-law I would never have made it.
Dann ist es zum Glück vorbei. Der Weg wird wieder gangbarer.
Luckily this is soon over. The path was inviting for an upright walk again.
