Die Ortschaft Cahore liegt auf einer Landspitze (Cahore Point, Rinn Chathóir), die in die Irische See ragt. Vom Pier am Hafen führt ein Weg entlang den Klippen. Von der Spitze aus haben wir einen wunderbaren Blick nach Norden und auf die langen Sandstrände im Süden.
The village of Cahore lies on a headland (Cahore Point, Rinn Chathóir) that protrudes into the Irish Sea. Starting at the pier a path leads along the cliffs. At the point we have a wonderful view to the north and over the long sandy beaches to the south.
