Kirche zur Hl. Maria / St. Mary's Church

Die Kirche zur Hl. Maria wurde in den 1840ern erbaut und ersetzte eine ältere Kirche. Die Entwürfe stammen von Joseph Welland, der Architekt für die Kirchliche Kommission in Dublin war. Leider können wir uns das im Stadtführer beschriebene "Dreifaltigkeitsfenster", das 1927 installiert wurde, nicht ansehen, weil die Kirche verschlossen ist.

St. Mary's Church was built in the 1840s and replaced a former church. The designs were made by Joseph Welland, an architect for the Ecclesiastical Commissioners in Dublin. Alas, we cannot see the "Trinity Window", installed in 1927, that is described in our town guide, because the church is locked.
