Der Konvent der Anbetungsschwestern wurde nach langjährigem Betreiben von Dr. Thomas Furlong, dem Bishof von Ferns, gegründet. Mutter Mary of St. Perpetua war die erste Vorständin des Konvents. Die Anbetung begann am 1. Jänner 1875 und wird bis heute fortgesetzt.

The Convent of the Adoration Sisters was founded after long lasting persuasion by Dr. Thomas Furlong, the Bishop of Ferns. Mother Mary of St. Perpetua was the first superioress. The Adoration began on January, 1st 1875 and still continues to this day.
