Kirche zum Hl. Patrick / St. Patrick's Church

Um 1860 wurden in Enniskerry sowohl die protestantische Kirche zum Hl. Patrick, als auch die katholische Kirche zur Hl. Maria gebaut. Die protestantische wurde von Mervyn Wingfield, 7. Vicomte von Powerscourts, finanziert, für die katholische Kirche stellte seine Familie das Land zur Verfügung.

Die Kirche zum Hl. Patrick ist innen hell und einfach ausgestattet. Die Prunkstücke sind die Orgel und der hölzerne Dachstuhl.

Around 1860 in Enniskerry the Protestant St. Patrick's Church as well as the Catholic St. Mary's Church were built. The Protestant church was funded by Mervyn Wingfield, 7^th Viscount of Powerscourt, for the Catholic church his family provided the land.

On the inside, the St. Patrick's Church is bright and simply decorated. The show-pieces are the musical organ and the wooden roof truss.
