Palmen Weg / Palm Walk

Der Palmen Weg ist eine der beiden geraden Fluchten in Mount Usher (die andere ist der Azaleen Weg). Er führt schnurgerade vom Haus bis fast zu einer Ecke des Gartens. Entlang des Weges stehen Chinesische Hanfpalmen und er trennt die Sammlungen an Scheinulmen (Eucryphia, links im Bild) und Scheinbuchen (Nothofagus, rechts im Bild).
The Palm Walk is one of the two long straight lines inside Mount User (the other one is the Azalea Walk). It leads unswerving from the house close to one corner of the garden. Along the walk stand Chusan Palms and it separates the collections of eucryphia (left side of the picture) and nothofagus (right side of the picture).
