Anhoehen und Berge / Hills and Mountains

Die Berge in Irland sind deutlich niedriger als wir es von Österreich her gewohnt sind. Was aber nicht heißt, dass viele von ihnen einfach zu besteigen wären. Eine gute Kondition, festes Schuhwerk und dem Wetter angepasste Kleidung - diese Regeln gelten in beiden Ländern um einen Gipfelsieg zu erringen.

Wandern erfreut sich schon seit vielen Jahren großer Beliebtheit und daher gibt es viele Wanderrouten, die von ganz einfach bis ganz schwer reichen. Mehr findet ihr in den angegebenen Links (die aber auch nur eine Auswahl der verfügbaren Links ist).

The mountains in Ireland are way lower than what we are used in Austria. But that does not mean that many of them are easily ascended. A good physical condition, sturdy shoes and clothings according to the weather - these rules are valid for both countries to conquer the summits.

Hiking has been a favourite sport since many years and therefore there are many hiking trails, ranging from very easy to very difficult. More about them you can find in the provided links (that are only a selection of the available links).
