Loughmacrory Langgrab / Loughmacrory Long Cairn

Nördlich des Lough Macrory (Loch Mhic Ruairí) bei der Ortschaft Loughmacrory finden wir gleich zwei megalithische Anlagen. Direkt der Coolaheran Road liegt das Langgrab, das von der Straßenseite eher klein ausschaut. Erst vom Feld nebenan, können wir erkennen wie beeindruckend lange das Grab wirklich ist (ca. 30 Meter).
North of the Lough Macrory (Loch Mhic Ruairí) near the village Loughmacrory we actually find two megalithic tombs. Directly beside the Coolaheran Road there is the Long Cairn which looks rather small as seen from the road. But from the next field, we recognize how impressivley long the cairn really is (about 30 metres).
