Die Hängebrücke ist die älteste eiserne Hängebrücke Irlands und wurde Anfangs des 19. Jahrhunderts von einem der Ingenieure der Familie Parsons entworfen.

This Suspension Bridge is the oldest of its kind made from iron in Ireland and was constructed by one of the engineers of the family Parsons at the beginning of the 19th century.
