Roonagh Quay

Am Kai von Roonagh (Rú an Átha) ist die Straße zu Ende. Von hier aus kämen wir nur mit der Fähre auf die Inseln Clare Island (Cliara) und Inishturk (Inis Toirc). Bei unserem Besuch weht ein heftiger Wind, da bleiben vermutlich alle lieber an Land - wir sehen weder Fähren noch potentielle Besucher (vielleicht weil es im Warteraum furchtbar stinkt). Wir gehen daher ein kleines Stück den Küstenweg entlang, der nicht gut ausgebaut ist.
At Roonagh (Rú an Átha) Quay the road is at its end. From here we could only go by ferry to Clare Island (Cliara) and Inishturk (Inis Toirc). During our visit a harsh wind is blowing, and so everyone presumably prefers to stay on land - we see neither ferries nor potential passengers (maybe because it is terribly stinking in the waiting room). So instead we walk along a part of the coastal way that is not very well developed.
