Lough Cullin

Lough Cullin (Loch Cuilinn) ist der kleine Bruder vom Lough Conn: Rund um ihn ist Moorland mit nur wenig Zugängen zum See, und er ist bei Fischern sehr beliebt.

Bei einem Zugang im Norden des Sees kommen wir zu einem langen Strand. Ein Teil ist mit Sand bedeckt, aber der größte Teil ist steinig. Auch von hier aus ist der Berg Nephin sehr gut erkennbar.

Lough Cullin (Loch Cuilinn) is the smaller brother of Lough Conn: Around it is bog land with only a few accesses to the lake, and it is favoured by anglers.

At one access point we come to a long-stretched strand. A part is covered with sand, but the greater part is stoney. Nephin Mountain can be seen quite goodly also from this spot.
