Der spektakulärste Anblick bietet sich uns jedoch ganz an der Spitze der Landzunge: Dún Briste trotzt - seit dem Mittelalter vom Festland abgeschnitten - alleine dem Wind und den Wellen. Die Legenden erzählen uns, dass der Hl. Patrick selbst den Teufel auf die äußerste Spitze der Landzunge gelockt und diese dann abgetrennt hat. Seither ist der Teufel auf dem Felsen gefangen und kann den Bewohnern Irlands kein Leid antun.
The most spectacular view however we get at the peak of the head: Dún Briste defies - cut off from the main land since the Middle Ages - wind and waves on its own. The legends tell us that St. Patrick himself lured the devil to the utmost peak of the head and then cut it off. Since then the devil is trapped on the rock and cannot harm the people of Ireland.
