Magdalenenturm / Magdalene Tower

Anfang des 13. Jahrhundert gründeten die Dominikaner in Drogheda das Kloster zur Hl. Maria Magdalena. Von diesem Kloster ist nur mehr der Glockenturm aus dem 14. Jahrhundert erhalten, der Magdalenenturm genannt wird.

At the beginning of the 13^th century the Dominican order founded the friary of St. Maria Magdalene in Drogehda. Of this friary only the belfry from the 14^th century remains that is also called Magdalene Tower.
