Slea Head - Dunmore Head

Slea Head (Ceann Sléibhe) liegt am Südwest-Ende der Halbinsel. Wir bleiben ziemlich genau an der Spitze auf einem Parkplatz stehen, von wo aus wir einen guten Blick auf die Große Blasketinsel (An Blascaod Mór, links im Bild) und auf die Landspitze Dunmore Head haben, die der westlichste Punkt der Hauptinsel Irland ist. Bei Tearaght Island (An Tiaracht), einem unbewohnten Felsen draußen im Meer, ist Irland dann aber wirklich zu Ende.
Slea Head (Ceann Sléibhe) lies at the south-west end of the peninsula. We make a stop rather exactly at the head on a parking place, where we have a good view on the Great Blasket Island (An Blascaod Mór, left side of the picture) and on Dunmore Head, which is the most western point of the main isle of Ireland. At Tearaght Island (An Tiaracht), an uninhabited rock out in the sea, Ireland it really at its end.
