Hochkreuz und Rundturm / High Cross and Roundtower

Das Kilree Hochkreuz (südlich der Stadt Kells (Ceanannas)) steht nur unweit eines über 20 Meter hohen Rundturms und den Ruinen einer Kirche entfernt. Das Wetter der letzten ca. 12 Jahrhunderte hat dem knapp 3 Meter hohen Kreuz schon arg zugesetzt.
The Kilree high cross (south of Kells (Ceanannas)) stands not far from a round tower of the heights of over 20 metres and the ruins of a church. The weather of the last about 12 centuries was very hard on the almost 3 metres high cross.
