Bei Moyvalley (Maigh Bhealaigh) überquert die R418 den Royal Canal. Wir nutzen die Gelegenheit für eine kurze Pause. Ein paar Bronzeschuhe erweckt unsere Aufmerksamkeit. Sie gehören zum "Nationalen Hunger Weg", der sich über 165 Kilometer vom Strokestown Park in Roscommon bis zum "Jeanie Johnston Hunger Schiff" in Dublin erstreckt.
Near Moyvalley (Maigh Bhealaigh) the R418 crosses over the Royal Canal. We use the opportunity for a short break. A pair of bronze shoes arise our curiosity. They belong to the "National Hunger Way" that stretches for 165 kilometres from Strokestown Park in Roscommon to the "Jeanie Johnston Hunger Ship" in Dublin.
