Batty Langley Lodge

Die Batty Langley Lodge steht beim Eingang des Anwesens in die Richtung zur Straße nach Dublin. (Eine schmale Straße führt von der Brücke der R404 über die Liffey beim Reservoir zur Lodge.) Sie wurde 1785 errichtet und orientiert sich an den Entwürfen des englischen Architekten und Gärtners Batty Langley, die stark von der Gotik beeinflusst sind.
Seit seiner Errichtung diente das Gebäude verschiedenen Zwecken, heute kann es als Gästehaus gemietet werden.
Batty Langley Lodge stands at the entrance of the estate into the direction of the street to Dublin. (A small road leads from the bridge of the R404 over the Liffey close to the reservoir to the lodge.) It was built in 1785 and follows the designs of the English architect and gardener Batty Langley that were strongly influenced by the Gothic style.
Since its construction the building served for various purposes, today it can be rented as a guest house.
