Alter Barrow-Zweig / Old Barrow Line

Nahe Robertstown (Baile Riobaird) ist die größte Kanalkreuzung. Hier gehen vom Hauptzweig des Kanals zwei Seitenzweige weg. Einer davon, der alte Barrow-Zweig (am Bild links), verzweigt noch einmal in den "Milltown Feeder", bevor er nur wenig später auf den neuen Barrow-Zweig triftt. Der "Milltown Feeder" führt ein Stück nach Süden, wo er nach der Stadt Milltown endet. Der Hauptzweig des Kanals geht nach rechts weg.

Near Robertstown (Baile Riobaird) there is the biggest canal crossing. Here two branches fork off the main canal. One of them, the old Barrow Line (the left one on the picture), forks off the "Milltown Feeder", before it unites with the new Barrow Line. The "Milltown Feeder" leads a short stretch to the south were it ends behind the town Milltown. The main branch of the canal goes to the right.
