Die Kathedrale des Hl. Brendan - erbaut 563 und 1016, 1164 und 1179 niedergebrannt - war im 16. Jahrhundert das Zentrum einer blühenden Schule mit bis zu 3000 Studenten und gilt wohl zurecht als schönste romanische Kirche Irlands.
St. Brendan's Cathedral - built in 563 and burnt down in 1016, 1164 and 1179 - was the centre of a blossoming school in the 16th century with up to 3000 students and is considered as the most beautiful Romanic church of Ireland.
