Cloghanmore Hofgrab / Cloghanmore Court Tomb

Auf der Landkarte sind südöstlich von Malin More (Málainn Mhor) mehrere megalithische Gräber eingezeichnet. Leider ist dann aber kein Hinweis auf diese Gräber zu finden - mit Ausnahme von Cloghanmore (An Cloghanmore - der große Steinhaufen). Es gibt sogar einen Parkplatz direkt neben der Straße, dann führt ein Fußweg zwischen Schafen und Moor bis direkt zum Grab. Es wurde Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts aus dem Moor ausgegraben und rekonstruiert. Cloghanmore ist ein Hofgrab und etwa 5000 Jahre alt. Laut Beschreibung soll es mehrere Grabkammern und verziehrte Steine geben, die wir aber nicht erkennen können.
On the map there are several megalithic tombs marked south-east of Malin More (Málainn Mhor). Alas, we cannot find any hint of these graves - with the exception of Cloghanmore (An Cloghanmore - the big heap of stones). There is even a parking place directly beside the road, then a foot path leads between sheep and bog to the tomb. It was dug out of the peat and reconstructed at the end of the 19th century. Cloghanmore is a court tomb and about 5000 years old. According to the description there are several burial chambers and decorated stones, which however we cannot recognize.
