Das Landgut von Ardgillan (Ard Choill - Hochwald) bei Balbriggan (Baile Brigín) ist eine weitläufige, am Meer gelegene Anlage, in dessen Zentrum ein aus dem Jahr 1738 stammendes Schloss steht. Die besonderen Attraktionen sind der Ummauerte Garten, der Rosengarten und natürlich der Potentilla Garden, in dem mehr als 200 Arten gezüchtet werden. 80 Hektar an weitläufigen Rasenflächen und kleinen Wäldchen umgeben das Schloss und die Gärten. Vom Haupteingang kommend breitet sich die ganze Pracht von Ardgillan vor uns aus.
Ardgillan (Ard Choill - high wood) Demesne near Balbriggan (Baile Brigín) is a spacious ground, situated near the sea. In its centre lies the castle from the year 1738. The special attractions are the Walled Garden, the Rose Garden and the Potentilla Garden, a plant that is raised here in more than 200 species. 80 hectare of lawn and woods surround the castle and the gardens. Arriving from the main entrance, the whole splendour of Ardgillan spread before us.
