Als wir Anna Liffey entlang schlendern, fällt uns an der Ecke Essex Quay und Parliament Street dieses ungewöhnliche Gebäude auf. Es wurde Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts für Lord Lever im italienischen Stil erbaut. Da Lord Lever Miteigentümer der Firma Lever Brothers war, deren absatzstärkstes Produkt die Sunlight Seife war, ließ er das Haus von Conrad Dressler mit zwei Friesen schmücken, welche die "Geschichte der Hygiene" verbildlichen. Ein Blick durch das Zoom der Kamera zeigt die vielen Details der Darstellungen auf den Friesen.
As down by Anna Liffey we do stray, our eyes are caught by an uncommon building on the corner of Essex Quay and Parliament Street. It was built at the beginning of the 20th century for Lord Lever. As Lord Lever was also co-owner of the company Lever Brothers with their best selling soap Sunlight, he had Conrad Dressler decorate the house with two friezes depicting the "history of hygiene". A view trough the zoom of the camera reveals the many details in the images of the friezes.
