Louisa Elizabeth Bennett (1870 - 1956) und Helen Chenevix (1890 - 1963) waren befreundete Suffragetten, Feministinnen und Mitbegründerinnen der Frauengewerkschaft in Irland. Als Politikerin wurde Chenevix zweimal zum Lord Mayor of Dublin gewählt. Die Bank im Hintergrund ist diesen beiden Frauen gewidmet.
Im Vordergrund ist der Garten für Blinde zu sehen, in dem aromatische Pflanzen wachsen und der in Braille beschriftet ist.
Louisa Elizabeth Bennett (1870 - 1956) and Helen Chenevix (1890 - 1963) were partners as suffragetts, feminists and co-founders of the Women's Worker Union of Ireland. As a politician, Chenevix was elected Lord Mayor of Dublin twice. The bench in the background is dedicated to these two women.
In the foreground there is the Garden for the Blind in which aromatic plants grow and that is labelled in Braille.
