Fast am Ende der Beara Halbinsel liegt Garnish Bay: Das blaue Meer, umsäumt von Klippen und Stränden, die grünen Felder und Wiesen, vereinzelte weiße Bauernhäuser, Schafe und Kühe auf der Weide. Alle idyllischen Postkarten vom Westen Irlands komprimiert auf einen Ort.

Am Horizont können wir noch die Iveragh-Halbinsel mit dem Ring of Kerry sehen.

Almost at the end of the Beara peninsula lies Garnish Bay: The blue sea, edged by cliffs and beaches, the green fields and meadows, isolated white farm houses, sheep and cattle on the pasture. All idyllic post cards of Ireland's west compressed to one place.

On the horizon we can still see the Iveragh peninsula with the Ring of Kerry.
