Doorty Hochkreuz / Doorty High Cross

In den Ruinen der Kathedrale stehen heute mehrere Hochkreuze, von denen das am besten erhaltenste das Doorty Cross ist. Das Kreuz ist auf allen vier Seiten mit Bilder verziert.
Die eine Seite zeigt einen Bishop (mit Mitra, krummen Bischofsstab und zwei geflügelten Wesen auf den Schultern), in der Mitte zwei Geistliche (mit abgewinkelten und mit Tau-förmigen Stäben) und am Sockel ein geflügeltes Biest auf zwei menschlichen Körpern sitzend.
In the ruins of the cathedral stand several high crosses, of which the Doorty Cross is the most remarkable. The cross is decorated on all four sides with images.
One side shows a bishop (with mitre, volute-headed crosier and two winged creatures on his shoulders), in the middle two ecclesiastics (with a drop-headed and a tau-shaped crosier) and on the socket a winged beats sitting on two human torsos.
